Marie L. Mahaffey, 92, of Williamsport, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl A. Mahaffey. Born March 16, 1926, in Jersey Shore, she was a daughter of the late Nicola and Theresa (Distasi) Caroccia.

Surviving are her children, Cindy Schrader (Jack), of Williamsport, and Ted Mahaffey, of Montoursville; a sister, Delores Shaffer (Pete), of South Williamsport, Louis Caroccia (Cathy), of Linden; and a sister-in-law, of Laura Caroccia, of Jersey Shore. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 1220 Northway Road, Williamsport, with the Rev.

John J. Victoria officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy. Marie had a love for children and wishes to have memorial contributions made in her name to March of Dimes Fight For Preemies, Attn: March For Babies, 1275 Mamaroneck Ave.
