Donald Anthony Chiappetti, of Waxahachie, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born to the late Amedeo and Minerva Gaudiosi Chiapetta on July 31, 1925 in Rochester, NY. Don proudly served our country and retired from the United States Marine Corps.

He loved God, his family and his country. He will be missed and never forgotten. He is survived by his loving wife, Patty Chiappetti; his sons, Mike and Glenn Chiappetti; his step sons, Ted,… Read More » Kim and David Zeigler; 9 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his oldest son, Buzz, who passed away in November of 2010 at the age of 59. Services and full military honors will be rendered at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2018 with Pastor Jarod Douglas officiating.
