Obituary for Donald D. Hulbert Donald D. Hulbert, age 81, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018. He was born January 5, 1937 in Muskegon to Donald G. and LaVerne (Goethe) Hulbert and had been a life resident of the area. Don was a U.S. Navy Veteran and had worked for Sappi Fine Paper Company for 30 years prior to retiring.

On February 28, 1964, he married the former Margaret Anne Avdek in Muskegon. Don loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and especially his time at his house in the woods, where he enjoyed much time with his grandchildren, watching them grow up. Now as adults, they treasure those memories.

SURVIVORS include his wife, Margaret; children: Ann Foster, Gayl (Edward) Beck, Kathryn (Lee) Dart, Pamela Hulbert, Beverly Hulbert, and Suzanna VanderPool; grandchildren: Brandon Foster, Andrew (Tiffany Pelt) Foster, Devin Beck, and Eddie (Megan) Beck, Clara and Camden Dart; brother-in-law, Matt Tomasiewicz; and a nephew, Mark Tomasiewicz. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter at birth; sister, Jacqueline Tomasiewicz; and nephew, John Tomasiewicz. According to his wishes, private family services will be held.
