Donald Richard “Dick” Partee, 81 of Circleville passed away on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus surrounded by his loving family. Dick was born on Nov.

23, 1937 in Ashville to the late Guy and Sadie (Hoover) Partee. Dick served in the U.S. Army. He graduated from Ashville High School and attended Franklin University.

Dick retired as an Estimator/Project Manager from PPG Industries, Glass Division, and later along with wife Mary Lou purchased and operated the former Puckett’s Hamburger Inn for 10 years. Dick loved his family and adored his grandchildren, attending their sporting and other special events from kindergarten to college. He was particularly smitten by his new great-granddaughter.

Dick loved watching and playing golf even serving as a volunteer for the PGA Senior Golf tour. He loved working in his yard for which he was very particular and proud. Dick was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, The Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Ohio Circleville #20, Grand Council Royal and Select Masons of Ohio Tyrian Council 60, Pickaway Lodge #23 F.&A.M., Pickaway County Shrine Club of Circleville and Scottish Rite.

Besides his parents, Dick is preceded in death by a brother Paul and sister Geneva Diehl. Dick was loved and will be greatly missed by his wife of 58 years and high school sweetheart Mary Lou (Cloud) Partee; daughter Renee (Dean) Kuhn of Lewis Center, OH; grandchildren Morgan (Kent) Baughman, Taylor Kuhn and Jordan (Rachel) Kuhn; 1 great granddaughter; brother Harold Partee and sister Mary Irene Bumgarner, both of Ashville; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a Masonic Service on Friday, Dec.

28th and Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Sat. Dec. 29th at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103 with Rev.

Alan Schulz officiating. Interment with AMVETS service will follow at Reber Hill Cemetery, Ashville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Shriner’s Hospital, 3229 Burnett Ave.
