Donald Hainline Sr., 87, of Milan, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019 at his home surrounded by family. Services for Don will be 10:30 am, Friday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home, where a Time of Sharing will begin at 7 pm.

Burial will be in the Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island, where military honors will be conducted by the Vietnam Veterans of American, Post No. 299. Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial fund that will be established at a later date.

Donald was born on March 11, 1932 in Macomb, Ill. , a son of Jule and Ruth Wilmot Hainline. He married Judy Carson on May 21, 1960 in Knoxville, Ill.

Don was a member of Cement Masons Local No. 18, Rock Island, for over 50 years and business agent for 28 years. Don was a member of the Rock Island Moose Lodge, Rock Island Conservation Club and the Milan American Legion Post No 569.

He was a volunteer for the John Deere Classic for many years. This was the first year that Don was unable to golf in his league. He loved his Tuesday trips to the casino and was known for his great sense of humor.

Mr. Hainline was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife, Judy; children, Vicki (Keith) Bloomfield, Viola; Duke (Renea) Hainline, Milan, Mike (Connie) Hainline, Romeoville, Ill. and Steve (Katie) Hainline, Milan; grandchildren, Chad, Nick, Stacy, Jeremy, Lindsey, Samantha, Daulton, Lacey, Stephanie, Kassidy and Myah; nine great grandchildren; and a brother, James Hainline, West Palm Beach, Florida.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; and a granddaughter, Nicole Bloomfield.
