Freeland, Michigan Beloved brother and uncle passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Covenant HealthCare-Cooper Campus. Age 68 years. The son of the late Paul and Leona (Michalski) Seman, Don was born on August 7, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan.

He served in the United States Army from 1971 to 1973. Don was employed for General Motors for more than 30 years retiring in 2007. He enjoyed playing euchre, watching basketball and football, outdoor walks, golfing and riding his moped.

Don was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #82 and Pulaski Club. Surviving are his sister, Patricia (Ken) Samuels, one niece and nephew, Farren (Justin) Kaczor; and Parker (Katie Hart) Samuels; a great-nephew, Dallas; aunts and uncle, Dorothy Weiss, James (Jean) Seman; many dear friends. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd.

Rev. Fr. Peter Gaspeny will officiate.

Interment will take place in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens with Military Honors rendered by V.F.W. Post #1566. Friends may call at the church where the family will be present on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to V.F.W. Post #1566.
