Willie Moody, Saginaw, Michigan. Beloved brother passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Saginaw Senior Care and Rehab Center. Age 81 years.

Son of the late Willie and Juanita (Jones) Moody, Willie was born May 22, 1937 in Thomaston, Georgia. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of American Legion Post #439. Willie retired from General Motors as a pipefitter with 30 years of service.

He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles #497, the Fordney Club and Saginaw Field and Stream. Willie enjoyed traveling, the casino’s and going to the gun range. Surviving to cherish his memory are two sisters, Betty Wright, Rochester, New York; Ellen and John Register, Rochester, New York; a sister-in-law, Mittie J. French, Thomasville, Georgia; many nieces and nephews.

Willie was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Moody and Arnold French. A special thank you to Saginaw Senior Care, American Hospice and a special friend, Lori Steeves. Honoring Mr. Moody’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

The American Legion Post #439 will conduct a Military Service at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 20, 2019 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty). Visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
