Obituary for Jeanne L. Beelman Jeanne L. Beelman, Saginaw, Michigan. Loving mother, grandmother and sister passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at Saginaw Senior Care and Rehab Center. Age 93 years.

Daughter of the late William E. and Evangeline (Fernette) Hinds, Jeanne was born April 19, 1925 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a graduate of St. Andrew High School during WWII. Jeanne married her high school sweetheart James Beelman in 1944 in Clovis, New Mexico.

Together they had many happy years divided between Ft. Myers, Florida and Crooked Lake, Michigan and traveling in the U.S. and Europe with their good friends from Germany. Jim predeceased her in 1987.

In 1989 she married Lloyd Quint in Florida and spent 12 happy years with him until he passed away. She spent many happy years with a good friend, Darwin Dennis, at Wescourt Retirement Home. Jeanne studied piano with the Sisters of Mercy and enjoyed entertaining many times at Westcourt Dining Room.

Music was the love of her life. She collected and played old music from the early 40”s. While in Florida and Lake City, Michigan, she was active in The Sweet Adelines.

Surviving to cherish her memory are one daughter and one son, Bonnie Johnstone, Ann Arbor; Terry and Carol Beelman, Saginaw; four grandchildren, Kelly Beelman, Julie Beelman, Amanda and Brent Sigg, Jordan Johnstone; her sister, Joyce Grzesiak; and a sister-in-law, Mary Hinds. Jeanne was preceded in death by her son, James M. “Mike” Beelman; two sisters, Annette (Donald) Spangler, Elaine (Percy) Beechler; two brothers, Donald William (Elaine) Hinds, Peter James Hinds; and a brother-in-law, Walter Grzesiak. Honoring Mrs. Beelman’s wishes cremation has taken place.

Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 12, 2019 at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Andrew Catholic Church, 612 N. Michigan, Saginaw. Rev. Fr.

Ronald F. Wagner will officiate with entombment of cremains in Roselawn Memorial Mausoleum. Friends may visit at the church where the family will be present on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
