Lionel Lewis Girardin, age 77, of Saginaw, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 12, 2019. The son of Lawrence and Fern Girardin, Lionel was born March 13, 1941, in Au Gres, Michigan. Lionel enjoyed camping, woodworking and was a talented auto mechanic.

He retired from General Motors after 30-year career. Lionel is survived by his loving wife, Susan Girardin; his sons, Brian (Lisa) Girardin and Eric (Debbie) Girardin; grandchildren, Craig Girardin, Christopher Girardin, Nicholas (Ashley) Girardin, Mark Girardin, Ryan Girardin and Lydia Girardin; and great grand children, Scarlet Girardin, Landon Girardin, Brandon Girardin, Vanessa Girardin, Sean Girardin and Miles Girardin. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Delbert Girardin, Phyllis Corey, Wendel Girardin, Gale Girardin, Marvin Girardin and Dana Girardin; and their parents.
