Obituary for Dennis G. Souffrin Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019 following a lengthy illness. Age 67 years. The son of the late Jules and Jennie (Kinzer) Souffrin, Dennis was born January 25, 1951 in Brooklyn, New York.

He married Joan Donajkowski, his loving wife of 48 years, August 8, 1970. She survives him. Dennis was employed at General Motors for 25 years until his retirement in 1996.

Dennis was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Dennis enjoyed bowling, hunting, golfing and music. Dennis will be remembered for always helping those who needed it and loved spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving besides his wife Joan are one son and two daughters, Brian Souffrin, Saginaw; Andrea and Jeff Mesojedec, Wixom; Anna La Tarte, Saginaw; eight grandchildren, Rachel, Brian II, Renee, Meghan, Jack, Kira, Mariah and Savannah; one sister, Linda and Edwin Rivera; a brother-in-law, Harry Donajkowski; several nieces and nephews. Dennis was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Caesar Donajkowski. Funeral Liturgy will take place 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2019 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5376 State Street in Saginaw.

Rev. Fr. Richard E. Jozwiak will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery.

Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. , (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on Monday from 12:00 noon until time of Mass.
