Obituary for Donald “Teeny Boy” Dwaine Matthews Donald Dwaine “Teeny Boy” Matthews, 66, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019. Mr. Matthews was born in Florence Co., SC a son of the late Donald Pres Matthews and Mettie Geneva Ard Matthews. He was a retired pipe fitter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother, Ray Matthews. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Lynn Pridgen Matthews; son, Preston (Shannon) Matthews of Murrells Inlet; daughter, Beth (Kelly) Stone of Johnsonville, SC; granddaughter, Memory Stone; brother, Carroll Matthews; sister, Clara Faye Padgett of Pamplico, SC, and his beloved horse, Roscoe. Memorials may be made to Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund, 7001 Friendfield Road, Effingham, SC 29541.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, January 14, 2019 at Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will take place at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in the Florence National Cemetery.
