Obituary for Donald William Cole Donald William Cole, age 92, of Littlefork, Minnesota, and formerly of International Falls, Minnesota, died Saturday July 28, 2018, at Rainy Lake Medical Center in International Falls. Donald was born on Aug 4, 1925 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and grew up in the Nakoda area of International Falls. He served in the U.S. Army.

Donald was united in marriage to the former Nora Kelley on June 28, 1952 at the St. Thomas Rectory in International Falls. Donald was a member of the Moose Lodge and the local V.F.W. He enjoyed hunting but his favorite pastime was working.

He was a self-employed logger, and trucker. He was preceded in death by his wife Nora; father, William Cole; and mother, Martha S. Cole. Donald is survived by his five children, Craig (Sue) Cole, Dorothy (Earl) McShane, Jack (Shawn) Cole, Kathy (Don) Wicks, and Jim Cole; seventeen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and sister, Catheryn Simenson.

Per Donald’s request no services will be held. Interment will be at a later date at the Ericsburg Cemetery, Ericsburg, Minnesota. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Donald William Cole please visit our Sympathy Store.
