Donna M. Hofmann, 91, of Rock Island, formerly of Aledo, passed away Saturday June 16, 2018 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 20th, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave. , Milan.

Burial will be at Andalusia Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Friendship Manor, Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Donna was born June 13, 1927 in Rock Island, Ill. , a daughter of Stanley and Orpha BlairTerry. She married William H. “Bill” Hofmann on November 18, 1944 in Andalusia, Ill.

He preceded her in death on December 11, 2015. Donna worked at Servus Rubber, Rock Island and was a homemaker for her family. She and Bill farmed together for 45 years, retiring in 1989, they spent many winters in Harlingen,Texas, along with many friends.

She enjoyed dancing and going to yard sales. Surviving are her children and their spouses, Judy and Darrel Hofer, Reynolds, Shirley and Larry Clarke, Taylor Ridge, Roger Hofmann, Fountain, Colo. , Bill Hofmann, and Donald and Debbie Hofmann, all of Aledo; 14 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; sister Beatrice Owens, Woodhull, Ill.

; and many nieces, nephews and other family. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband; granddaughter, Connie Hofer; sisters, Betty, Barbara, Beverly, brother Junior and two sisters and one brother, in infancy.
