Obituary for Donna Hovick Donna Hovick, 90, formerly of Fort Dodge, died Friday, September 21, 2018 at the Iowa Jewish Senior Life Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Pastor Nicholas Thackery officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior.

Interment will be held in North Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Donna Ruth Sanford, the daughter of Frank and Jessie (Satter) Sanford, was born August 28, 1928 in LuVerne, IA.

She graduated from LuVerne High School. On September 3, 1949 Donna was united in marriage to Allmon Hovick. The couple made their home and raised their family in Fort Dodge.

Donna was employed with Trinity Regional Medical Center in medical records prior to her retirement. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and was a member of LWML. Survivors include four daughters; Gail, Sue, Barb, and Teresa; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and her sister Joanne Larson-Melling.
