Donna’s Obituary Donna Kaye Knipp,73, of Ironton, Ohio passed away Monday, March 18, 2019 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. The Lawrence County native was born January 30, 1946, the daughter of the late William and Daisy Brown Payton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, David Knipp, who passed away July 1, 2017.

Donna was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and a former LPN Nurse for River Valley Health Systems. She was a member of Lorain Street Gospel Mission in Ironton and loved reading, bluegrass music, and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: a son: William Darryll Hewitt a daughter: Cindy Kaye Bostick three brothers: Emery Payton, William Payton and Robert Payton and a sister: Martha Sites She is survived by: granddaughter: Leah Grace Hewitt grandson: Dustin Bostick step-children: Regina Karen (Edi) Knipp Henn, Ronald (Cyndi) Knipp, Thomas (Teresa) Knipp, and Robert (Barbara) Knipp grandchildren: Dennis, Jennifer, Alyssa, Lisa, Kelly, Amanda, Racheal, Tom, Elfrieda, Doug, David Michael, Brian, Luke, and Tara sisters: Barbara Depriest, Gertrude (Ralph) Ackison, Marlene (Jack) Pemberton, Beverly Payton, and Floye (Sammy) Cooke sisters-in-law: Sally (Lawrence) MacDonald and Annis Payton special friends: Matt, Tanya and Matthew Baily and several nieces and nephews Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Lorain Street Gospel Mission, 330 Lorain Street Ironton, Ohio with Brother John Paul Pemberton officiating.

Burial will follow in Aid Cemetery and visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
