Obituary for Donna Mae Buckingham Donna Mae Buckingham, 55, of Fredericksburg, went into the loving arms of Jesus on Friday, June 29, 2018, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Robert E. Buckingham, II. On September 23rd, they would have celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary.

Born in Lebanon on February 17, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Henry E. and Elizabeth A. Zehring Boyer. Donna was a member of the Lebanon Area Evangelical Free Church, Jonestown, and she had graduated from Word of Life Bible Institute in Schroon Lake, NY. She had worked as an aide and a substitute secretary for the Lebanon School District.

She enjoyed rug hooking, bird watching and especially her time at the beach and working in her gardens. Donna loved to serve and help others and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons Austin R. and his wife Faith V. Buckingham of Jonestown and Connor L. Buckingham at home; daughter Olivia Mae Buckingham at home; sister Diane E. Dorman of Manheim; mother-in-law Janice E. Buckingham of Myerstown; sisters-in-law Cheryl A. Buckingham of Myerstown and Elisabeth L. Putt of Newmanstown; nieces and nephews Laura Mae Dorman and Andrew T. Dorman and Eva J. and Elias Putt.

She was preceded in death by her niece Katie E. Dorman-Fuhrman. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lebanon Area Evangelical Free Church, 600 Shepherd St., Jonestown. Following the service, there will be a light luncheon and a time to visit with the family.
