Obituary for Allen G. “Pat” Rhine Allen G. “Pat” Rhine, 89, of Annville died Tuesday, September 11, 2018 in Countryside Christian Community, North Annville Twp. He was the husband of Elizabeth I. Rice Rhine to whom he was married 57 years. Born in Lebanon on January 20, 1929, he was the son of the late Allen D. and Mildred A. Dissinger Rhine.

He was a letter carrier for the U. S. Postal Service in Annville for 39 years. Al was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II, a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Annville, where he participated in the church bowling league, Annville Senior Citizens, Travelers Protective Association, Annville American Legion, and a life member of the Annville Union Hose Fire Company and the Lebanon Elks B.P.O.E. #631, and a former member of the Snitz Creek Dance Club.

He and his wife were extensive travelers. Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter Julie A. Maurer of Cleona, a son Edward A. Maurer of Lebanon, a grandson Paul Maurer and wife Michelle of Palmyra, two great grandchildren Ava and Zachery Maurer, two great nieces Cassie Forrest of Ohio and Jenny Livingston of Georgia. He was preceded in death by a sister Mary Rhine and a niece Phyllis Rhine Livingston and her husband Jim of Ohio.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park with Military Honors. A viewing will be held on Friday from 9-10 AM prior to the service.
