Obituary for Rev. Jacob H. Long Rev. Jacob H. Long, 89, of Annville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 8, 2019, at Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon.

He was the husband of the late Beulah K. Lentz Long, who passed away in May. Born in S. Annville Twp. on January 12, 1929, he was the son of the late Harvey and Beatrice Hostetter Long.

For over 20 years he pastored the Annville United Zion Church. He worked for Millard Quarry and started and operated his own excavating business. He enjoyed farming, hunting and watching the Phillies.

He is survived by his sons J. Jeffrey husband of Rita Long of Annville, Jay K. husband of Pamela Long of Annville, John K. husband of Eileen Long of Jonestown and Jesse A. husband of Krista Long of Annville; daughters June M. wife of Ken Kleinfelter of Lebanon, Janet L. wife of Dale Eberly of Manheim, Joan E. wife of Bob Hossler of Annville, Karen J. wife of the late Jay Heisey of Manheim and Kathy A. wife of Daryl Engel of Manheim; brother Kenneth Long of Elizabethtown; sister Jane Fox of Hershey; Twenty-five grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his great granddaughter Cheyenne Barnhart, brothers Lester, Stanley, Clarence, Christian, and Mearl and sisters Celesta Long, Jean Gagliano, Joy Hetrick and Almeda Winters. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Lebanon God’s Missionary Church, 2127 Hill Street, Lebanon.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the church and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Interment will follow at the Annville United Zion Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Annville United Zion Church Cemetery, c/o Thomas Hostetter, 1758 N. State Rt.
