Obituary for Kenneth Richard Scott Kenneth Richard Scott, 89, died October 20, 2018, at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Ken was born in Wentzville, MO on April 1, 1929. After graduating from high school, he joined the Navy during the Korean Conflict.

He was very proud of being a veteran, and he last resided at the Lebanon VA Hospice. After the Navy he went to Temple University and graduated with a degree in pharmacy. He worked as a pharmacist at various stores in the Lancaster, Lebanon, York and Gettysburg areas, finally retiring at age 83.

He was a member of the Masonic Lamberton Lodge #47 in Lancaster, PA. He is survived by two daughters, Kathryn wife of Arthur Miller, Cornwall, PA and Sandra Budden of Aurora, Co He has six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Ken loved to paint and he was an avid antique dealer and at one time had turned his house in New Oxford, PA into an antique shop. He also loved Gettysburg. Anyone who knew him at one time had enjoyed the “Ken Scott Tour” of the battlefield.
