Obituary for Ronald J. Shenk, Sr. Ronald J. Shenk, Sr., 63, of Jonestown, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Susan Elizabeth Martin Shenk of Jonestown. They just celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary on October 1st.

Born in Hershey on October 25, 1954, he was the son of J. Carl Shenk of Annville and the late Doris Smith Shenk. Ronald enjoyed NASCAR, dirt track racing, and on Friday nights you would find him in the stands at Linda’s Speedway. He was an avid Civil War buff, loved camping at Knoebel’s with his family and just enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters and his family every chance he got.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Ronald J. Shenk, Jr. and girlfriend Jen Myers of Harrisburg, Ryan A. Shenk, and Brett M. Chadwick, both of Jonestown; granddaughters Jocelynn Chadwick, Morgandy Chadwick, Makayla Shenk and Nya Shenk. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Morgan Chadwick. Services will be at the convenience of the family.
