Obituary for Herbert G. Yingst Herbert G. Yingst, 77, of Annville, passed away at the Good Samaritan Hospital on Friday, October 19, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Elinor J. (Allwein) Yingst of Annville. They would have celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary on December 6th.

Born in Lebanon on December 1, 1940, he was the son of the late Aldus D. Yingst, Sr. and Elizabeth F. (Shenk). Herb was a graduate from Cornwall High School with the class of 1958. He attended Sandhill Church of Christ in Christian Union.

Herb worked many years as a carpenter for H.W. Repperts. He loved carpentry, remodeling kitchens and bathrooms, antique trains, old style country music, but most of all he loved his family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Elizabeth J. Yingst and Jeannette L. Yingst, both of Jonestown; a sister, Nancy, wife of Dennis Walker of Tremont.

He is preceded in death by brothers: Aldus D. Yingst, Jr., Chester Yingst, Mervin S. Yingst, Vernon M. Yingst,and a sister Jessie L. Wanner. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 23, at 11:00 a.m. from Sandhill Church of Christ in Christian Union, 1000 Laurel St., Lebanon, PA 17046. Interment will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.

Viewing will be Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown, PA 17038 and one hour prior to the service at the church.
