Obituary for Gene E. Stover Gene E. Stover, 76, of Annville, passed away on September 1, 2018 while on a trip to his beloved cabin in Gaines, PA. Gene was the husband of Ruth M. (Shuey) Stover, with whom he celebrated 57 years in marriage this July. Gene was born in Lebanon County on November 18, 1941 to the late Lester Stover and Ethel (Reese) Stover.

Gene was a graduate of Palmyra High School. He had worked for 40 years as a chocolate worker for Hershey Chocolate Factory. Gene’s favorite past time was spending his time at “Four Smokies Camp” in Tioga County.

This is where he was able to do what he loved, fishing and hunting turkey, deer, and bear. Gene was known to have the “best lawn” in the area. Surviving in addition to his wife, are his daughters, Debbie and husband Robert Edwards of Fishing Creek Valley, Cheryl and husband Joseph Zidik of Palmyra, Lori Smith and fiancée Randy Myers of Cleona, and his grandchildren, Timmy Smith and wife Samantha, Zach Smith and his fiancée Chelsey, Justin Bachman Edwards and his wife Sophia, Lee Edwards, Amber Edwards, Jessica Jensen and husband Dan, Bianca Zidik Sager and husband Brandon, and his siblings, Gerald I. Stover and wife Derith of Palmyra, Lee W. Stover and wife Bonnie of Gaines, and Romaine C. and husband Sam Blouch of Hershey.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 1PM at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. There will be a viewing held from 12PM – 1PM at the funeral home.
