Obituary for Robert E. Carpenter Robert E. Carpenter, 69, of Lebanon died Friday, August 31, 2018 in his residence. He was the husband of Shirley L. Seltzer Carpenter with whom he celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary this past June. Born in Lebanon on August 9, 1949, he was the son of the late Simon T. and Elsie Magni Carpenter.

He retired after 39 years of service in the Cocoa Department with Hershey Foods Corp. Robert was a member of Hill Lutheran Church, Lebanon and an avid Hershey Bears and Fightin Phils fan and season ticket holder. Surviving in addition to his wife is a son Brian R. Carpenter of Davie, Florida, a daughter Kelly J. Carpenter at home, two brothers Frederick Carpenter and Harry Carpenter both of Palmyra, and a sister Dorothea Yordy of Lebanon.

He was preceded in death by two brothers Kenneth Williams and Randy Carpenter and a sister Judy Sisko. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Interment will be in Hill Church Cemetery.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 10-11 AM prior to the service. Contributions may be made to his Church at 998 N.
