Obituary for Lola M. Hoover Lola M. Hoover, 91, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday September 14, 2018 at Juniper Village. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William A. Zilka, who passed away in 1985, and her second husband, Herbert R. Hoover, who passed away in 2014. Lola was born in Bethel on September 2, 1927 to the late John Lentz and Effie (Dove) Lentz.

Lola had worked for several different factories. She was a member of Assumption of The Blessed Virgin Mary in Lebanon where she and her husband were former ushers. She had also been part of the Rosary Guild.

Lola loved to crochet, having made all her daughters’ blankets, and cooking. It was with her cooking that she would enjoy bringing the family together. Lola was very dedicated to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughters, Bonita “Bonnie” Lake of Columbus, OH, Louella and her husband John Blaner of Medford, NY, Colleen Christenson of San Diego, CA, Mary Jane and her husband Skip McDonough of Palm Harbor, FL, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and one on the way. She is also survived by her siblings, Johnny, Charlotte, and Lorraine. She was preceded in death by seven siblings.
