OBITUARY Donna Trull Pennell July 1, 1946 – July 16, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Mrs. Pennell, 72, of Charlotte NC went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 16, 2018. She was born July 1, 1946 in Charlotte, NC to Woodrow (Woody) and Dorothy (Dot) Trull. Donna graduated from North Mecklenburg High School and received her B.S. in Elementary Education from Western Carolina University in 1968.

Throughout her life she taught in many different school systems including Charlotte-Mecklenburg and Buncombe County. She was a faithful and devoted Christian and was a longtime member of Durham Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Pennell is survived her mother; son, Matthew (Matt) Pennell and his wife Linda; daughter Amanda Pennell; grandchildren, Emory Pennell, Wyatt Lindler and Grayson Chavez; brother William (Bill) Trull and wife Linda; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Friday, July 20, 2018 at Durham Memorial Baptist Church, 1601 Toddville Rd. , Charlotte, NC 28214. Interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park 5716 Monroe Rd.

, Charlotte, NC 28212. The family will receive friends Friday morning at the church from 10:00 until the service. Memorials can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater Charlotte Chapter, 4601 Charlotte Park Dr., # 100, Charlotte, NC 28217.
