Doris Colbourne Lewis, 88, of Secretary passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at her home. She was born in Andrews on July 30, 1929 and was a daughter of the late William Wilson Abbott, Addie Bramble Abbott, and her stepfather Carl Abbott that helped raise her. Ms. Lewis attended schools in Andrews.

She worked at Cambridge Scientific. After retirement, she did some home health work. Ms. Lewis enjoyed reading, and loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Vicky Kemp and husband Greg of Secretary, seven grandchildren Kristina Clough and husband Scott, Kimberly Webster, Russell D. Colbourne III, Jesse A. Colbourne, Carl I. Colbourne, Rhiannon Colbourne and Alana Hurley, eight great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren, a brother Crawford Abbott of Cambridge and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mrs. Lewis is preceded in the death by a son Russell D. Colbourne, Jr., three brothers and a sister. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and grandsons in law.

Services will be private. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
