Doris’ Obituary Mrs. Doris Virginia Marshall Montgomery age 85 of Thomaston Ga, died Saturday February 23, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Montgomery was born on July 20, 1933 in Pike County, to the late John Henry Marshall and the late Ella Lou Trice Marshall. She was formerly employed with the Upson County School System where she worked as a lunch room attendant until her retirement.

Mrs. Montgomery was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Frederick Eugene Montgomery, daughter Patty Montgomery, brothers Donald Hugh Marshall, Leldon Marshall, sisters Pauline Allen, Beatrice Partain, Lois Stewart, Ruby Vanhouten. Survivors include her daughter Mrs. Pam (Ken) English of Thomaston Ga, sister in law Mrs. Marie Marshall of Meansville Ga, grandchildren Tonya Adams, John Dowdy, Mandy (Brandon) Jones, Kevin (Lindsey) English, Chris English, 13 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday February 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery.
