Obituary for Dorothy A. Breazeale Dorothy Arnold Patton Breazeale, 103, resident of Manning Place of Greer, widow of Clarence Breazeale, passed away January 2, 2019. Born March 22, 1915 in Fountain Inn, she was a daughter of the late Tom and Janie Godfrey Arnold. Mrs. Breazeale moved to Taylors in 1959 and became a member of Taylors First Baptist Church in 1959.

She was a member of the XYZ Club, Global Missions, and Tuesday morning Bible Study and was active in making Mission Dolls and stuffing bulletins. She was self-employed in the drapery business from 1969-2000. Surviving are a foster daughter, Connie Schmick; step-daughter, Betty Foltz; one sister, Virginia Gatlin; seventeen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and a neighbor who is like a daughter, Larah Timmons.

Mrs. Breazeale was predeceased by her first husband, Hoyt Patton, step-son, Daniel Breazeale, two sisters, Lila Gault and Delena Stearnes, and four brothers, Toby Arnold, Odell Arnold, Glen Suttles and James “Bill” Suttles. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2019 at Taylors First Baptist Church Chapel, conducted by Dr. Jimmie Harley. Burial will follow in Cannon Memorial Park.

Honorary escort will be the members of Friendship Sunday Class at Taylors First Baptist Church. Visitation will be held 10:00-10:45 a.m. Monday in the gathering space at Taylors First Baptist Church. The family is at their respective homes.
