Obituary for Spartan “Sparky” Dickson, Jr. Spartan Irwin “Sparky” Dickson, Jr., 60, passed away December 31, 2018. A native of Greenville County, son of the late Spartan Irwin and Kathleen Griffin Dickson, he was a retired photographer and a member of Zoar United Methodist Church. Surviving are his sister, Kathy Good of Lyman; a nephew, Lane S. Good; a great-nephew, Davin L. Good, wife Melissa and children, Greyson and Palmer; and one great-niece, Cassidy Miller.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2019 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Michael Cheatham. Burial will be private.

Visitation will be held 12:45-1:45 p.m. Friday at The Wood Mortuary. The family is at the home. Memorials may be made to Zoar United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 333, Greer, SC 29652.
