Dorothy’s Obituary On Sunday, March 3, 2019, Dorothy Ennis Lord made her transition to eternal rest and peace at Friendship Retirement Community. She was the youngest of four daughters born to the late William Garfield and Florence Ennis on April 6, 1917, in Norfolk, VA. Dorothy is survived by her only son, Hugh (Doris) Ennis, of Roanoke, VA; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held noon Thursday, March 7, 2019, in the Hamlar-Curtis Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Williams Memorial Park.
