Obituary for Dorothy M. Ruble RICHMOND, Ind. – Dorothy M. Ruble, age 86, of Richmond, Indiana, died Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Rosebud Village. Born June 6, 1932, in Richmond, Indiana, to Wilson Kenneth and Flora Lee Teeters Coalter, Dorothy was a life-long resident of Richmond.

She graduated from Richmond High School. Dorothy formerly worked as a cook. She enjoyed making crafts and teaching others to craft.

Dorothy will be missed. Survivors include her daughter, Cindy (Hoy) Compton; sons, Donald Ruble Jr., Billy Ruble, and Maurice (Barb) Ruble; 19 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ruble Sr., to whom she was married August 22, 1951; son, Ronald Ruble; grandson; great-granddaughter; parents; sister; and brother.

The family would like to thank the staff of Rosebud Village for the wonderful care they gave to Dorothy until she went to meet her Lord. A time of gathering for Dorothy M.
