Dorothy Sue Booth, 82, of Hamburg, died Wednesday, February 13, 2019. Mrs. Booth was a native of Hamburg and a resident of the Prairie Grove Community in Drew County, for most of her life. She graduated from Fountain Hill High School in 1954, and she was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Ladelle Baptist Church, where she was active in the Church nursery for over 17 years. Mrs. Booth enjoyed keeping children in her home and being a volunteer grandmother at the Hamburg Pre-K. She loved camping and spending any time she could with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George Alfred and Bernice Estelle Ferguson LaGrone and a great-granddaughter, ElleKate Carter. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles “Sonny” Booth of Hamburg; her children, David Booth and wife, LaWanda and Anita Booth all of Hamburg and Debbie Carter and husband, Gary, of Tyro; her sister, Clotine Keen of Crossett; five grandsons, Charlie Booth and wife, Karla, Blake Harville, Michael Booth and wife, Mande, Josh Carter and wife, Samantha and Justin Carter and wife, Courtney, and 12 great-grandchildren, Rayleigh Booth, Reagan Booth, Addie Suber, Maddie Suber, Daniel Harville, Jackson Carter, Colt Carter, Gunner Booth, Cullen Booth, Cooper Carter, Karli Carter and Cali Carter. Funeral services are 2 p.m., Saturday, February 16, 2019, at the Ladelle Baptist Church with Bro.

Ryan McRae and Bro. Jason Cater officiating. Burial will be in the Ladelle Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Charlie Booth, Michael Booth, Josh Carter, Justin Carter, Blake Harville, and Mike McManus. Honorary pallbearers are the Ladelle Baptist Church Deacons: Terry Hayden, Glenn Satterlee, Billy Mitchell, Wayne Hoover, and Monroe Cope. Memorials may be made to the Ladelle Baptist Church, c/o Sonya Deal, 142 Deal Lane, Monticello, AR 71655.
