Summers, 87, of Kingston, died 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in Westmoreland Place, Chillicothe following an extended illness. She was born September 10, 1931, in Ross County, to the late John and Gladys Neff Detillion. On November 22, 1952, she married Bernard Dean Summers who died July 19, 1985.

On January 5, 2001, she married Forrest R. Summers who died August 23, 2004. Surviving are a daughter, Brenda D. Virgin; granddaughters, Kayla Virgin and Tara (Jeremy) Roll; great grandchildren, Skylar and Levi Roll, all of Kingston; former son-in-law, David D. Virgin, of Chillicothe; sisters, Patricia (Jerry) Noble, Betty (Larry) Sater, both of Laurelville and Janice Thompson, of Chillicothe; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, John Detillion and a sister, Mary Ann Wagner.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 1, 2019 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Lynn Summers officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
