Edward P. Fulton January 23, 2019 Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries Edward P. Fulton died January 23, 2018 from a stroke he suffered January 5th. He was born July 10, 1924 to Merle H. and Ruth M. (Pontious) Fulton. He married the former Margaret Ann Cook February 21, 1953.

They were married almost 66 years. He is survived by his wife; his son, Dave E. (Nancy Walkosak) Fulton of New Franklin, OH; three step-grandchildren, Aaron (Casey) Conkle, Anne (Jose) Hernandez and Douglas (Jamie) Conkle; several step great grandchildren; a step great great grandson; several nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Eileen June (Cook) Shaeffer, Goldsboro, NC. He attended Centralia High School in Ross County and at 18 he enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corp and served with the 5th Air Force in the Southwest Pacific area during WWII.

He was a Lifetime member of the Pontious Family Association, member of the Friends of the Air Force Museum in Fairborn, OH, member of the First Families of Ohio, First Families of Ross County, and a member of the American Legion Post 62. He retired from the Chillicothe Water Department after 35 years He enjoyed attending his service reunions every year also fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Robert and Daniel.

There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Sunday, January 27, 2019 in Mount Pleasant Cemetery with Adena Chaplain Bruce Hines officiating. Military graveside rites by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard.

Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Adena Hospice, 2077 Western Ave. Chillicothe, OH 45601 You may sign his online register at www.
