Stewart Irwin Holmes January 11, 2019 Send Flowers Sign Guestbook Stewart Irwin Holmes, Sr., 68, of Chillicothe died 11:29 a.m. Friday, January 11, 2019 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following a courageous battle with heart failure. He was born October 2, 1950, in Bay County, Florida, to the late Alvin and Maud Stephens Holmes. Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Lola Sparks Holmes, of Chillicothe; children, Stewart I. (Michelle) Holmes, Jr., of Panama City, FL, Summer (Chris) Cullen, of Panama City, FL, Octovia (Jeremy DePew) Legg, of Chillicothe and Alison (Wil) Kirkbride, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Lindsey Holmes, Jaylyn Holmes, Lacey Clark, Kenneth Lee Tuggle, Sadie Bell Lovett, all of Panama City, FL, Marshall DePew, Garrett DePew, Wilow Kirkbride, Wyatt Irwin Kirkbride, all of Chillicothe; a sister, Donna Ewing, of Jacksonville, FL; a niece, Stephanie Legg; and nephews, John Ewing and Shane Davis.

Stewart was a project manager for several subcontractors that worked at the Chillicothe Mead Paper Company for many years. He was a member of Logan Elm Masonic Lodge #624 in Kingston. In his pastime, Stewart loved to fish.

He was loved by many and will be dearly missed. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2019 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Jack Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME where a Masonic service will begin at 7 p.m. You may sign his online register at www.
