Albright born June 14, 1941, 77, went to be with the Lord 5:23 a.m. Sunday, January 6, 2019 after losing his battle with Cancer at the Adena Regional Medical Center. He is survived by his loving wife Gloria “Babe” Albright and a son, Dennis K. Albright. Also surviving are sisters, Bernadine Stewart and Geraldine Curry; an aunt, Ruth Albright; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by father, Glenn “Jiggs” Albright, mother, Bernice Mahoney, stepfather, James Mahoney, and a sister, Glennadine Hess. Gary was a life member of American Legion Post 757, AMVETS Post 4 and VFW Post 108. He also belonged to the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 142, Eagles Aries 3506, and Moose Lodge 2263.

Gary loved volunteering at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center and raising donations for the Gifts for Yanks program. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Tommy Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard.

Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Legion Detachment of Ohio Gifts for Yanks Program, 60 Big Run Road Delaware, Ohio 43015. You may sign his online register at www.
