Rick Sherman January 01, 2019 Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries Rick Sherman, 64, of Chillicothe, passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born June 28, 1954 in Fostoria, Ohio to the late Ralph W. and Donna Joan Sherman. On June 26, 1976 he married Susan Schriever.

He is survived by his wonderful, caring “Bride” of 42 years; also daughter, Katie (Darryl) Owens, of Canton, OH; grandchildren, Darryl Elijah, Savea, Audrey, and Sophi; a brother, Robert (Bonnie) Sherman; nephews including Brian Sherman and Bradley (Ashley) Sherman and their two children. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Sherman. Rick was a music teacher and band director at Zane Trace High School for 32 years.

He was a member of Kappa Kappa Psi, Ross County Band Directors Association, and The Renaissance Singers. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Calvary Lutheran Church where he was a member for 33 years. The doors will open at 10 a.m. and the service will start promptly at 11 a.m. Friends may join the family for visitation and meal immediately following the service.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Ware Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to the National Kidney Foundation or Calvary Lutheran Church. You may sign his online register at www.
