Obituary for Douglas Dillard Smith Douglas Dillard Smith, 67, passed away on June 11, 2018 at his home. A native of Greer, son of the late Leo Bruce and Moise Dillard Smith, he was a retired employee of Cryovac, a U.S. Army Veteran where he was stationed in Vietnam and Korea, retired from the U.S. Army Reserves and a member of Greer First Baptist Church. Surviving are his son, Matthew D. Smith (Susan) of Athens, GA; one brother, David Smith of Lenoir, NC and an expected granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held at a later date with eulogy delivered by Ole Miss Football Coach Brennon Chapman.
