Obituary of Douglas Adamczak Douglas E. Adamczak, 60 of Dunkirk, passed away on December 18th, 2018 at Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility (Greenhurst, NY). He was born January 18th, 1958 in Dunkirk, NY to Edward and Janet Adamczak. Douglas was an avid sports fan, loving all things Bills, Sabres, and Yankees.

Douglas is survived by his mother, Janet (Acquavia) Adamczak, his siblings, Lynn Ziegler, Susan (Jeff, deceased) Konko, Barbara (Jerry) Carr, and Tim (Gen) Adamczak, as well as several nieces and nephews. Douglas is preceded in death by his father Edward A. Adamczak, and his paternal and maternal grandparents. Douglas’ family would like to express their gratitude to everyone at Heritage Green for the loving care and joy they gave him.

A celebration of Douglas’ life will be held on Friday, December 21st at 11am at Blessed Mary Angela Parish (St. Hyacinth’s church). Everyone attending is encouraged to wear Bills, Sabres or Yankees attire in support of Douglas’ passions. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Douglas’ memory to the Parkside Unit at Heritage Green at 3023 Route 430 Greenhurst, NY 14742.
