Obituary for Drake Austin Jaramillo Drake Austin Jaramillo was born in Kansas City, MO on August 18, 1994. He passed away in San Diego, CA on October 19, 2018. Drake grew up playing soccer, hockey, football, cross country, wrestling and track and field.

In 2013, during his senior year in high school, he broke the league track record for pole vaulting. Drake enjoyed EDM music and going to raves before he entered the Marine Corps in June 2015. After basic training, Drake was stationed at Camp Foster in Okinawa, Japan.

It was here he started talking to, and fell in love with his wife Jaimee. On May 12, 2017 they were married in Okinawa, Japan. During his time on the island he toured many countries including Australia , Korea and Guam.

In January 2018, Drake came back stateside to join the Wounded Warrior Battalion West and he and Jaimee settled down in San Diego CA. Drake is survived by his wife Jaimee, parents John and Stephanie, older sister Jessica and his grandparents.
