DuWayne J. Reutebuch, 66, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018. DuWayne was born August 24, 1952, in La Porte, Indiana to the late, Raymond and Catherine (Hammes) Reutebuch. DuWayne was a retired licensed barber, and had worked at the Foamex Company, American Licorice Company, and La Porte Hospital.

He graduated from La Porte High School in 1970, and was an Indiana barber college graduate. DuWayne also was a lifetime member of St. Peter Catholic Church, an avid fisherman, and a baseball and college basketball fan. DeWayne leaves behind a son, Curtis (Shannon) Reutebuch of Knox, Indiana; two grandchildren, Melanie and Kaitlynn Reutebuch; a sister, Marianne (Noel) Sharp of La Porte, Indiana; and two nieces and one nephew.

A brother, Donald Reutebuch preceded him in death. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Saturday October 6, 2018, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1110 Monroe Street, La Porte, Indiana. Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.

Reverend William O’Toole will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or St. Peter Catholic Church.
