Earl Ray Cox, 77, of Newton Grove passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services for Mr. Cox will be held Wednesday, April 25th at 7 p.m. at Newton Grove Baptist Church with a visitation prior to the service from 6 till 7 p.m. The family will have a private burial on Thursday, April 26th. Mr. Cox will be laid to rest in Hillcrest Cemetery in Newton Grove.

Officiating the service will be Rev. Walter Gaskins and Rev. Jim Baldwin.

Survivors include his wife, Pat of the home, daughters Genia Harmon of Huntersville, Amy Watters of Newton Grove, Grandchildren Jack Harmon, Anna Harmon and Aaron Watters, Sister, Linda Shelton of Winston-Salem. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernice and Margaret Cox.
