OBITUARY Earl Thomas McFarland November 18, 1928 – September 27, 2018 Earl Thomas McFarland, 89, of Louisville, passed away September 27, 2018. He served in the Army during the Korean War, and retired from Ford Motor Company. He liked his kitties, fishing and working on lawn mowers.

Mr. McFarland was preceded by his parents Evan T. McFarland and Sarah B. Parrott. Survivors include his son Gerald “Jerry” McFarland; two sisters, Carolyn Tolle and Louise Case; a brother, David L. McFarland; numerous nieces and nephews; and Jerry’s mother, Formally Dixie Fitzpatrick. Visitation will take place Tuesday, October 2nd from 12-8pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road.

A service in honor of Mr. McFarland will be held at 12pm on Wednesday, October 3rd at the funeral home, guest can visit starting at 10am Wednesday. The burial to take place in Resthaven Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society.
