Obituary for Dreco L. Adkins Mr. Dreco Adkins, 48, of Louisville passed away peacefully at his home after battling an illness. He was born November 15, 1969 in Los Angeles, California to the late William Adkins and Bobbie Jene Porter Thomas. Dreco worked as an administrator for Louisville Metro.

He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. He loved his family dearly. Dreco was preceded in death by his father, William; and a brother, Andre Adkins.

He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 11 years, Louisa; two sons, D’Avon J. and Dylan W. Adkins; a daughter Sunshine T. Adkins; grandson, Roman W. Adkins; his mother, Bobbie Jene Porter Thomas; three brothers, Charles, Dante, and Domingo Adkins; and a sister, Antionette Adkins. Funeral services for Dreco will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, October 1, 2018 at Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, East Louisville with burial to follow at Crosswater Gardens Cemetery, 7110 Billtown Rd, Louisville, KY. Visitation will be held from 1:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, September 30th and Monday from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. before the service at the funeral home.
