OBITUARY Irma Lee Roy June 21, 1923 – September 25, 2018 Irma Lee (nee Dollinger) Schlafer Roy, 95 of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. She was employed with The American Printing House for the Blind, retired from GAB Business Services and worked for Arch L. Heady Funeral Homes. Irma Lee was preceded in death by her parents, Edward G. and Josephine Dollinger, husbands, Thomas Schlafer, Sr. and John Roy, Sr., a son, Thomas Schlafer, Jr. a daughter-in-law, Kathy Schlafer, a sister, Rosemary Dollinger, a step daughter, Dorothy Skees and two brothers.

She is survived by her sons, Robert (Sandy) Schlafer, Jerome Schlafer, daughters, Marie (Jack) Ruf, Angela (Larry) Thompson,Joanna (Matthew) Clark, and a daughter-in-law Janene Schlafer. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The family extends a special thanks to all of the staff and friends at Magnolia Springs whom Irma Lee loved.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 am on Monday, October 1, 2018 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 1395 Girard Ave with interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Guests are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, September 29, 2018 from 3-8 pm at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. and after 9 am Monday at the funeral home.
