Obituary for Earnestine Cox Rasberry Earnestine Cox Rasberry, 64, of Shongaloo, LA passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018 at the LSU Heath Science Center in Shreveport, LA. Earnestine was born on June 12, 1953 in Magnolia, AR. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was a great cook and always had enough for anyone who dropped by.
Earnestine was preceded in death by her father Ernest Cox; daughter Regina Cato; brother Marshall Cox; and brothers in law, Billy Rasberry, Sr. and Joe Rasberry. She is survived by her loving husband Jerry Rasberry of Shongaloo, LA; son Charles “Bubba” Sneed of Magnolia, AR; daughters, Connie Sneed of Magnolia, AR, Rebecca Montgomery and husband Billie of Shongaloo, LA, and Tanya Purdue and husband Adam of Houston, TX; mother Marie Cox of Magnolia, AR; sister Nell Pharr of Magnolia; mother in law Mary Shivley of Emerson, AR; grandchildren, Jeremy Sampson and wife Deztiny of Magnolia, AR, Dusty Montgomery of Shongaloo, LA, Nicole Baxter and husband Clay of Emerson, AR, Hunter Sneed of Shongaloo, LA, Tanner Thomas of Springhill, LA, Hanna Cato of Shongaloo, LA, and Carson Sneed of Magnolia, AR; great grandchildren, Kaylee Sampson of Shongaloo, LA, Ali Kirkpatrick, Jace Sampson, and Lexi Sampson all of Magnolia, AR; son in law Chuck Cato of Shongaloo, LA; sisters in law, Angela Rowe and husband Ricky of Emerson, AR and Marilyn Rasberry of Shongaloo, LA; brothers in law, Tommy Rasberry and wife Barbara of Shongaloo, LA and Larry Rasberry and wife Debbie of Shongaloo, LA; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro.
Andy Rowe and Hunter Sneed officiating. Burial will follow at the Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia, AR. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
