Eddie McClinton age 70 of 13 Johnson Street Due West S.C., passed Saturday at Self Regional Medical Center he was born in Abbeville County and was the son of the late Thomas McClinton Sr., and Annie Mae Martin McClinton he was a graduate of J.S. Maddox High School Class of 1966 and was a U.S. Marine where he served in the Vietnam War and received many honorable service awards. He was a member of St. Mary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Ellen Latimer McClinton of the home, two sons Eddie (Stacie) McClinton Jr. of Calhoun falls S.C. and Carlos McClinton of Atlanta Ga.

, two daughters Cathy (Richard) Young Honea Path S.C., and Olecia (Donell) Gibson of Anderson S.C., one sister Evelyn Price of Tampa Florida, two brothers Thomas (Emma) McClinton Jr., and William D. McClinton both of Due West S.C., six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday 1:00P.M. at St. Mary Baptist Church Due West S.C., burial will follow at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veteran Cemetery. The family is at the home.
