Edith Neal, 96, of Carmi, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019, at Wabash Christian Village in Carmi. She was born March 3, 1922 in Tulsa, OK, the daughter of Frank and Pearl (Hall) Foster. She married John M. Neal in 1955 and he preceded her in death on July 10, 1984.

Edith worked as a waitress and a bus and cab driver. Edith is survived by two daughters, Marsha Mitchell of Austin, TX and Janice Bradley of Dallas, TX; three grandchildren, Glenn Gardner, Kelly Gardner, and Melissa Bradley, and five great-grandchildren. Private graveside services will be held at Union Ridge Cemetery near Norris City.

Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
