Edith Frances Christmas age 88 of Lewisburg, died Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in NHC Oakwood. Mrs. Christmas was a native of Giles County, Tennessee born August 9, 1930 daughter of Otis and Mecie Smith Rutledge. She was a homemaker and member of Lewisburg First Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Howard Christmas, five sisters, Mildred Tate, Ruth Thompson, Bobbie Joyce Oliver, Evelyn Parks, and Geraldean Rutledge, six brothers, J.B. Rutledge, Smith Rutledge, Franklin Rutledge, Delano Rutlege, Roosevelt Rutledge, and Charles Dean Rutledge. She is survived by one son, Howard Christmas of Lewisburg, four daughters, Gladys (Ronnie) Ware, Margaret Blackwell, Diana (Randy) Williams and Vickie Christmas all of Lewisburg, thirteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.

The family will be at London Funeral Home Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. for visitation. London Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
