Sarah Josephine Crosslin, age 77 of Lewisburg died Saturday, October 6, 2018 at NHC Lewisburg. Mrs. Crosslin was a native of Petersburg, TN, and she was the daughter of the late William Goliebyrd and Dorothy Pauline Hunt Hammonds. She was a retired seamstress from the Blue Ridge Shirt plant in Petersburg and was Baptized at the Petersburg Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James McKinely Crosslin. She is survived by two daughters, Iva Dean Hicks of Hazelgreen, AL, Jo Ann Crosslin of Lewisburg, six sons, William Stanley Hammonds of Taft, TN, Terry Wayne Crosslin of Belfast, Kenneth Ray Hammonds of Lewisburg, James Orvall Crosslin of Lewisburg, Vincent Wallace Crosslin of Hazelgreen, AL, Johnny Clayton Crosslin of Hazelgreen, AL, one brother, Steven Ray Hammonds of Lewisburg, and sister, Margaret Ann Agent of Lewisburg. Eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild also survive.

Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in Lone Oak cemetery with burial to follow.
